Sudha Raghunathan would have found it difficult to get into medicine because she could not get Community certificate and so she was rightly advised that music was her calling,whereas it would be easy for Dr Pal to get into medicine because he could furnish Community certificate and so he was advised to give up sports (where there was no affirmative action) for medicine.

Carnatic Music is at its crossroads with arts loving philanthropists sponsoring many music shows to promote carnatic music. Further paid concerts dont find enough audience as it eludes common man's thin purse. As a lover of music i enjoyed attending free music kutcheris at vani mahal etc. as a result many trafitional C.M artists have swayed over to cine sings and stage reality shows which are more commercial and very little aesthetic values. Further singers like t m krishna have lowered the prestige of our carnatic music which needs to arrested. All in all we are in for sea changes , like it or not.

I was expecting Dr to ask for 4 lines of his favourite song to mam to sing..

Good discussion. Lot of times acid reflux is caused by lack of acid that causes indigestion. Stomach acid is essential for proper digestion. Another culprit could be H-Pylori bacterial infection.

Though many of the Tamil channels include a Health related programme atleast once in a month, still the viewers like me enjoyed the conversation with Dr.PAL, basically a Gastro. The programme when it includes some questions of the audience , will help yesterday's Guest in understanding how common citizens are aware of the medical terms and even the general treatment. Sorry, Sudha Ragunathan does not include viewers questions of late. May be for want of time. Naturally the viewers feel the VIPs who organise the shows don't reciprocate the feelings of the viewers. This is of course my feelings, as I had asked some questions on obesity, cure for Diabetes etc. Otherwise, yesterday's programme was totally on human health particularly the digestive track, and the Acid reflux. Iam very happy to mention some of the pediatricians ( not many some 35 years ago) Dr.J.Viswanath, Dr. Santhana Krishnan, Dr.Baskar Raju. Many paediatricians in those days will struggle to identify the reasons for the simple Diahrrea of the Children, and many will reach the end stage. Today Dr.Pal was mentioning about the Lactase intolerance among certain children, and Dr. Viswanath had saved many children, by cutting the ordinary milk and suggesting Soya Milk tins, costing around Rs.900/- imported as it was not manufactured in India. ( Brand name Prosobee....US) Much later Indian version was manufactured by Fair deal Corporation,India. This iam mentioning only for more parents information. Dr.Pal was very much appreciative of Alexander Babu, the Stand up Comedian , and through him , how he was encouraged in Medcom business. Here, I would like to mention the other Stand up Comedian from Madurai itself, Madurai Muthu. He excels every one in the field. I sent my question also on laugh therapy, as more Senior Citizens try it now. Ofcourse Music has the healing effect on patients about which Dr.Pal also mentioned in brief.

I enjoyed this conversation between smt. Sudha Raghunathan & The Trichur Brothers ! In the midddle of the night , when everyone else is sleeping , I wake up so early , say at 2 am , I have no option but listen to good Carnatic Classical music This night I came across this beautiful program !I was so fascinated by the Chat , all three were having , I wad totslly engrossed in their conversations that didn't realize that it was my sleeping time when I needed to rest & relax ! I trully enjoyed the program ! I have always been a big fan of Trichur brothers & now on learning about their other interests such as sports & taking up many important projects such as Namami Gange & Vande Bharathambe ! They would go to any length to achieve what they were asked to do ! At the time of the Kargil war they were in the Indian Army Camp with special permission from the Indian Govt. Their good up bringing by their parents shows in their humbleness ! Thank you all so much ❤ for turning my night into a beautifully spent night having learnt many interesting aspects about your personalities ! 🎉😅
